Dr. Henry Fishkind Provides a “Forecast for the U.S. and Florida”

Dr. Henry Fishkind, a veteran economic analyst, recently spoke at The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch® as part of its educational series, The Art of Living Well. With more than 30 years of experience and a reputation as one of Florida’s premier economists, Fishkind offered his opinion on factors shaping our fiscal climate. More than 198 people attended the event, which was held February 28 at The Glenridge Performing Arts Center.

Fishkind’s career began in the public sector as an economist and associate professor at the University of Florida, and he later served on the governor’s economic advisory board. In 1980, he became associate director at the University of Florida’s Bureau of Economic and Business Research. He also formed Fishkind & Associates, Inc., a full-service economic and financial consulting firm.
