Brain Health Expert Speaks at The Glenridge

Dr. Paul Nussbaum Presents as Part of Educational Series

Dr. Paul Nussbaum, an international leader in brain health, recently spoke at the Glenridge on Palmer Ranch as part of The Art of Flourishing: An Educational Series. The renowned neuropsychologist shared the latest advancements in maintaining optimal mental capacity in his presentation titled “Brain Health Across the Lifespan”. Approximately 250 people attended the event, which was held at the Glenridge Performing Arts Center.

A licensed clinical neuropsychologist and adjunct professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Nussbaum has more than 25 years of experience treating dementia and related disorders. He is the founder and president of Brain Health Center, Inc., helping individuals, companies, organizations and schools across the world to implement cultures that support brain health. In addition to presenting at the United Nations, the National Press Club and C-SPAN, he is often interviewed by national media outlets. He has published many peer-reviewed articles, books and chapters for the scientific community. His book, Save Your Brain, was named as one of the top five brain fitness books by AARP.

Nussbaum has also served in many leadership roles, including as the national director of brain health for Emeritus Assisted Living, the senior advisor on brain health and education for the International Center for Leadership in Education, and the chair of the Advisory Board for Alzheimer’s Prevention by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
