THE GLENRIDGE PLAYERS

The Glenridge Players is a member

directed and funded theatre company at

The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch.

The Glenridge Players acquire, produce, direct and perform in a variety of shows staged for the enjoyment of Glenridge and other local community audiences, utilizing the theatre facilities and services of The Glenridge.  Active participation of members in all aspects of theatre work is essential.

The Glenridge Players welcomes participation from theatre enthusiasts outside of The Glenridge.

Last season over 35 Glenridge members and guests performed skits, told jokes, danced and sang in the first Glenridge Follies.  It was an outstanding success and the second Follies promises to be even more fun. more spectacular and more entertaining.

The reunion of 2 ex-vaudevillians sparks constant laughter in this very poppular comedy by the best comic author of our lifetime, Neil Simon.

In this wonderful comic drama, daughter Margaret, a famous painter, arrives to help her flaky, hat-sporting mother and absentminded father move out of the family homestead. As the boxes are packed, old memories are re-awakened and this unlikely trio comes to grips with their past, present, and future. What emerges is a family portrait {literally and figuratively} that is zany, heartwarming, heartbreaking and true. By Tina Howe.
