The Glenridge Academy is dedicated to providing life enrichment and lifelong learning programs, including courses and lectures on art, music, history, computers, philosophy, financial planning and politics. Membership is open to all who live at The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch and share an interest in learning. Curriculum is collectively approved by a dedicated committee of community members based on the learning interests of Academy members. The Academy takes full advantage of the incredible expertise, talent, academic and/or professional background of members by utilizing them as instructors for many of the courses.

The Academy is a member of the Elderhostel Institute Network (EIN), a national organization of lifelong learning institutes (LLIs) across North America, each unique and reflecting the needs and goals of a local community group or sponsoring university campus.
